I remember playing Missile Command for hours on Atari. Then my old man got hooked trying to beat me. He always had to show us kids he could whip us at anything. He finally gave up, never did beat my highest score. Happy Father's Day Dad.

i got the ms pac man plugged in right now.bought it for twenty bucks at wal-mart.i used to play an hour on one quarter at the arcade and anyone who went soon regretted giving me a couple quarters because they might be standing there a good while.i was just eight or nine years old back then when i played forever on one quarter and my uncle used this excuse to get out of the house to slam back a couple beers, lol.the store was a mini mart a couple doors down kind of like a 7/11 and by the time i played my last few minutes he was good and plastered and my aunt used to throw a fit and i would defend him, lol.of course i would defend him because he was taking me to play the arcade which when i got older i could see he just used that as an excuse to drink a couple budweisers but he was walking and he wasn't a violent person so i thought it was kind of funny when i looked back on it.back then you could stand around and drink a few in the stores in memphis back then if you weren't bothering anyone but that was back in the 80's in a different climate and as long as i was playing i wasn't worried because we were practically right next door to the house.i remember the cabbage patch dolls and my sister had a couple.they had a signature on the butt of the doll, lol i even remember it was xavier or something like that.they came with a birth certificate.the 80's were a fun decade.... [ More ]
