That's nice to know. A god who toys around with people's pain and suffering. Just sitting back and laughing while innocent babies are killed in Africa because of their tyrannical leaders. Just please...give me a break.<br

I'm not saying I know everything here.. nor am I a really trying to "convert" you or anything like that. But, to answer your questions on prayer, some places like Ethiopia are cursed by GOD for their disobediant rulers. Google that. Or better yet, bible search Ethiopia (and Syria too, that I can remember.) That is why it is important who rules a country. And someone once told me it wasn't that I wasn't praying, but who was I praying to and how that makes the difference. So maybe they are not doing it right? When I changed the way I prayed, my prayers began getting answered. Besides, all these things were predicted in detail in the bible. Read ecclesiastes and tell me that isn't what this war is all about. Read the whole book., not one or two verses. And God says he will have his chosen people with him in heaven even if he has to take them from the mother's womb. To answer your question about why GOD didn't do this or that when he would know ahead of time how it was all going to be? well, first off, it isn't my place to judge him it's the other way around., and in the end he also knows who wins this great battle we are caught up in. He does. (The battle I am referring to here is the great battle of God against the Devil. ) Second, we were created for his pleasure, I'm pretty sure he can do with us as he pleases. Muslims pray 5 times a day towards the east. Look where it's gotten them. Multiply hundreds of millions of muslims X 5, and all those prayers go unanswered. OH! wait a minute, thet are muslims, they can't possibly be right because the christians are right...right? So their prayers don't get answered at all...Wait a minute..the the christians and muslims can't be the key to heaven, because the Jews are right.....wait...no.....it must be the Buddhists. How many prayers have been given towards the soldiers who are out their fighting, and still lose their lives? How many prayers have been given towards the the people who are terminally ill, and still die? How many parayers for kids with cancer and still die? I'm glad that he listned in your behalf and not for billions of others. I guess he's selective about who he wants to help.

Pacattack, what is it called then if you pray to GOD for something to happen (against all odds) and it does happen just as you prayed? what do you call that? Oh yeah, answered prayers...by who? GOD. I have had answered prayers and seen miracles. I'm sorry you haven't.

I don't believe in organized religion. Period. I don't believe there are 72 versions of virgins waiting up in some other dimension. I don't believe you have to go through Christ only, if you want to be saved. Saved from what? I never did anything to be saved from it. As far as I'm concerned, I don't even remember asking to be born in the first place. Just like I don't believe in Santa, the fairy God mother, Tooth fairies, Thor, Zues, Budda, or any of those myths of the past. Tho... [ More ]

Pac, are you having a religion crisis because of that manzplan guy? Please don't let that guy bother you. He didn't realize it, and most don't that are just like him, but he was actually doing the work of GOD's people. In a particular thread he posted many verses from the bible on lottery post. He was trying so hard to make a point that actually he disproved in the long run. He wound up "preaching" to Lottery Post members. That is one way of doing GOD's peoples' work. It never cease...
