Some older people are still quite with it right up to till the end, others are not. When someone is "slipping" mentally, it becomes obvious to anyone that spends any amount of time with them. And even to those that don't. Sometimes they can seem okay, other times not so much. The longer it goes the worse it gets. In the over 80 crowd, how could you forget the oldest one of all, Feinstein 89? She's older than Chuck. Out of the 16 that are 80 and up, 5 are from your state. All dems. No wonder Ca. is such a mess. In the Senate, 34 are 70 and up. 18 D, 2 I, 14 R In the House 12 are 80 or older, 10 are dems.
