Presidents don't control the price of gas idiot! Blame high prices of food and gas on gouging prices of greedy merchants hell bent on recovering losses during less purchases in the pandemic. They are making up for losses.

You do realize that during Trump's entire 4 years the weekly price of gasoline never once went over $3.00 a gallon don't you? We didn't have a 4 year pandemic. It was $2.47 the week Biden was sworn in. Biden went over $3 on 5/10/21 to $3.05. On 3/7/22 10 months later it was $4.19. On 6/13/22 it was $5.10. On 8/22 It was down to $3.99. That's better. On 12/26/22 it was down to $3.20. That's better yet. But then the bad news, 4/10/23 it was back up... [ More ]

I am making this post so it will show back up as a future memory on my timeline: Today is two days after the 2020 election. Gasoline is currently $1.80-2.10 per gallon. Interest rates are 2.65% for a 30 year mortgage. The stock market closed at 27,848, even though we have been fighting COVID for 9 months. Our GDP growth for the 3rd Qtr was 33%.
