You're over 18. You are adults now. YOU are responsible for your own debts. Nobody forced you to go to college, you knew how much it was going to be when you enrolled. If it was too expensive then you should have chosen a school you could afford. It's all on you. Pay it back yourself.

The tax paying public should not pay for any child's advanced education beyond H.S. Forced redistribution of wealth is theft....You wanted the GD education..pay for it yourself or borrow the money and repay the loans...Better yet, here is a fleeting thought. Go to work, take classes and pay as you go. Be responsible for your own personal debt and have some integrity(to do what is right at all times)
