I was specific when I said Francis as the leader of the Catholic Church should know what his Bible says about obeying government laws. Didn't expect a lecture about which biblical character allegedly wrote the verse I quoted and why. Romans , Paul is writing to Gentile believers in Rome to obey, NOT ROMAN secular /pagan authority , but to obey the God Ordained authority of the synagogue rulers in Rome. And Francis should know what his Bible says about obeying government laws. Romans 13:1-2 says: "Obey the government, for God is the One who has put it there. There is no government anywhere that God has not placed in power. So those who refuse to obey the law of the land are refusing to obey God, and punishment will follow.
