The problem with this tax is that sometimes it is a tax on capital gains and sometimes it is a tax on inflation and the taxocrats don't care who they screw as long as the money rolls in.

That 40% on unrealized gains is straight up fascist, commie, and would cause an outright destruction of any economy. So now Harris is saying that the proposed 40% tax on unrealized capital gains she was promoting wasn t really her idea after all. She now says it was Biden s idea and she s coming off of it after throwing him under the bus again...down to 28% on actual capital gains (up from a current max of 20%).
