Original Blog Entry: Cuba power Grid

You may have heard that recently, the power grid in Cuba went completely down

11 million people were without power, and the country was plunged into total darkness.

The cause of the outage was a failure of their main thermoelectric plant.

As will come as no shocker to you, the plant is extremely old, not well taken care of, and is slowly falling apart.

As terrible as the US power grid is, we obviously look amazing compared to Cuba.

Of course, all the knuckleheads in this country who seem to think Socialism and Communism are great, aren t smart enough to put 2 and 2 together.

Communism is clearly the reason that Cuba has had so many severe blackouts lately and why they will continue to have them in the future.

Other countries don t need to try to attack the Cuban power grid to bring it down, just let Communism run its course.

On the other hand, attacks on the US power grid are continuing and the mainstream media aren t reporting it that much.

Russia, China, North Korea and Iran have all been probing our power grid and would love to see the US plunged into a black abyss.

As I ve been telling many consulting clients lately

The huge threat to the US isn t a cyber-attack from some Chinese hacker sitting behind a computer 7,000 miles away

The big threat is all of the foreign intelligence operatives who ve slipped through our borders the last few years.

They are definitely doing a lot of reconnaissance

And they are planning an attack that will make it very difficult to overcome and bring the power back online quickly.

Perhaps this is on my mind this morning because I m sitting here freezing (I need to turn the heat up in the house). But one day, everything will go dark for a long period of time.

And I know I ve said it before

But since we re in the middle of winter, make sure you have a ton of supplies to keep yourself warm.

Have blankets, sleeping bags, propane heaters

And the Pocket Power Grid System if you don t already have it.

I truly hope it doesn t happen in our lifetimes, but the writing is on the wall.
