Now.....The passengers causing disturbances while in flight and the dingalings that run one plane into another while taxiing or parking, that doesn't count as mechanical or in-flight. Bird strikes are just unavoidable. A ton of single engine small plane and helicopter issues

If 1,115 is the lowest in 23 years then that means it's usually much worse.

The 2024 total of 1,115 is also the LOWEST level on record since 954 in 2011. Yikes!!
