Is this a real question or is it were you try to judge and classify me as something i'm not. I'm against the death penalty.... If you were the accused, would you want to be tried by an ALL-Black jury? Would i have a choice? My choice would be "Not to commit the crime in the first place" or pay the price if you do. If you were the accused, would you want to be tried by an ALL-Black jury? Pinpoint to me from my comments just what exactly are you angry about. Or are you reading into them that prejudice you harbor in your heart? If the accused was a 16-yr old white male, tried by an all-black jury, and tried as an adult, I would still be outraged! Isn't 6 kids beating the crap out of one kid some kind of hatred? What kind of justice do think should be served here? Slap on the wrist? Probation? What kind of message does this send to other kids? We do live in a nation of laws were revenge through violence is not acceptable behavior. They showed a video tonight on CNN of another incident were 4 or 5 black kids attacked another kid and just kept beating on him. Are we supposed to just look the other way on this one too? Just asked yourself, what if it was your child getting the beat down? Or your brother, father, nephew, etc...???... [ More ]

However, we cannot forever hide behind the cloak of ignorance and claim innocence from racial atrocities when it is our choice to be ignorant. I put more blame on the sophisticated, cultured, and wealthy who should know better and are in the better position to make changes. <br

I was like OMG this was still happening in the 60s. They probably were caught after dark and they probably raped the woman. I took pictures. The photographs burned at the stake were the most gruesome. White people were gathered around the flames of the black burning bodies - jeering - even children. You can see the whites of their eyes. I still have the photographs. Once at work (museum education) while video taping a docent training (volunteers) the focus was on a painti... [ More ]

Hanging nooses bring back painful memories of racial hatred. Acts like this should be condemmed. He who can protest and does not becomes a silent partner in the act.
