Tntea, I love Andy Griffith. Once in a while I see it on Family Channel (or maybe it's TVland) and the stories aren't as silly as I thought they were. They talk about relationships with people and family values. There was one I saw recently where Opie was playing with his slingshot and killed a bird, leaving a nest of babies with no mother. His Dad told him to listen to the sound of the baby birds crying for their mother. Still, I wouldn't be happy living in the days where women like Aunt Bea felt their main goal in life was to cook dinner for the men.... [ More ]

I can deal with Rob and Laura's separate beds and the Beaver's no potty censoring, but looking at a man's ugly butt every week on NYPD Blue....now that's just nasty and a little "blur vision" on his ass would have been welcome. I can appreciate naked buttocks as much as the next person, but please, not his and not while I'm eating dinner!
I quit watching tv a long time ago. Seems that the shows that are aired are for those with low IQ .
I worries me that the content has gotten worse from what I hear. If people refused to watch the trash then they would clean it up. Write to those who are advertising in the slots between the filth and let them know you refuse to buy their products if they keep supporting such trash.<br
"That you can lose yourself. Everything. All boundaries. All time. That two bodies can become so mixed up, that you don't know who's who or what's what. And just when the sweet confusion is so intense you think you're gonna die... you kind of do. Leaving you alone in your separate body, but the one you love is still there. That's a miracle. You can go to heaven and come back alive. You can go back anytime you want with the one you love."
<br... [ More ]
