I don't know about "astute" since I am continuing to waste my money. It's like those fishermen. Maybe they read about someone catching a lot of fish in a neighborhood pond and started the Bubba Gump seafood company & became a multi-millionaire. So he keeps trying and, once in a while gets excited when something on the line pulls and tugs, although it turns out to be an old shoe. Each time he tosses a line, he thinks to himself "this is a waste of my time" and that his dream is probably unrealistic, but then he drives down the road and sees 100 other people doing the same thing and figures they can't all be fools.... [ More ]
What do you expect? After all, this is a lottery board!
Do people really fish in a retention pond? That's a riot. There are so many developments in FL that advertise "house on lake" with a hole filled with water in the back. I wonder if when the pond freezes if you're going to see people ice fishing.
