To anyone who is reading this blog...they are probably TRUE! I am very thankful that most stores have cash registers that do all of the calculations. The Sears story is priceless, but not as uncommon as one might imagine. I had a very similar conversation when ordering at the deli counter. I simply could not explain that .4 is not a quarter of a pound.
