Part of the problem with high crime levels is you have cities that defunded the police and you have areas that refuse to punish criminals once they are caught. Think sanctuary cities. They get charges reduced or dropped which leads to a lesser sentence if any. The criminals think, That wasn't so bad, or nothings going to happen so I'll do it again. For 8 years Obama and his ICE agents deported 4 million illegals and not a peep. People will get on tv and scream about the police not doing anythings about the murders, the drugs the robberies , they do nothing to help only complain. Oh me oh my the police won't help they cried.
