Thanks rcb - I'll be fine. Maybe I'll take someone out to dinner!

BTW there are always some really nice events at places or worship if there are any other people here who might be alone on the holiday. Look in your local paper. Last year I spent the day with a friend and her family in Naples, but I've also enjoyed large groups at churches in the past when I was unable to make it to a family dinner because of work.

I'm going to spend it with family. We really do a big dinner thing for Thanksgiving...even moreso than Chrismas! We're going to eat, eat, and eat!!! All the grandkids are coming home from college, and there is going to be a whole lot of hugging and kissing going on! OH...and a few tears of joy that God has truly blessed my healthy and half way sane family! LottoMike, I do hope you and your family have a very blessed Thanksgiving.

Truth? 5 people I know died this year. 2 friends and 3 were in my family (Aunt, Uncle, Dad) I had plans to be with family, but now I think I'll stay home. If there's a shelter or soup kitchen that needs help, maybe I'll go there. I was thinking of taking a ride to SC since I want to move there, but gas is so expensive. It's just one day and I don't eat a lot of turkey anyway. If anyone wants to UPS some stuffing or sweet potato pie, please feel free. :-)
