Do you know what happened on this day? It was when Mitch McConnell announced he would step down as Senate Republican leader and be retiring from Congress at the end of his term in Jan 2027. That is 11 months before Trump became president. McConnell also started having his first (that we know of) "freezing up" episodes in July 2023 not to mention having had several bad falls which began in Aug 2019. These have been well documented.
