Instead of an automatic Free Ticket the lottery could consider giving players the option of a Free Ticket or a Free Play. Free Play would be allowing the player to pick their own numbers.

The validation receipt says 1 FREE PLAY but it's really a machine Free Ticket.

I'm thinking maybe reprogram the machines and change the bet slips so the player can mark if they want a machine Free Ticket or a Free Play. And if they leave it blank it defaults to the machine Free Ticket.

And when you scan your ticket, it says Congratulations! 1 Free Play if that's what you selected on the bet slip.... [ More ]
