I didn't even know they dropped new scratch offs. It feels like they spit out more new scratches than any other state. And the machine can't hold all of them. All retailers don't have all of them.

I haven't scratched in a while and decided to try some but I went to check remaining prizes first. People don't waste anytime with the new scratches. Claimers have already been claimed.

I kinda stopped scratching because of the odds. The juicy prizes there are so few of them and the state is so huge what are the chances that something juicy is in my city. And what are the chances that I pick the right store at the right time.

Scratch off top prize winners have to be the luckiest of all lottery players. With draw games it doesn't matter where you live as everyone has the same chance more or less. And many people use tools and statistics to try and help themselves beat the odds. But with scratch offs you just have to hope beyond hope that the top prizes or the juicy claimers land in your city. And even if it does land in your city you have so many retailers to choose from so you still have to pick the right one at the right time. It's really completely out of your hands.

I like watching hard-core scratch content. The people who buy whole books chasing the top prizes. I live vicariously through them.

Anyways. I'm gonna get some CASH IN HANDs and Power 20Xs and some JUMBO BUCKS.

I'm tempted to try a CASH BLITZ but $50 is so scary. The lower tier prizes are appealing based on the odds. But if you're a $50 player you really aren't just buying one you'd be committed to buying at least ten of them. And I am not a $50 player. I'd just be getting one of them and I can already see sorry not a winner in my head. Lots of 5Ks and 1Ks have already been claimed and it's been out less than three days.... [ More ]
