What they mean: We have a flu shot that doesn't protect the elderly. So we want YOU to get the flu shot that DOESN'T WORK, so that YOU don't give the flu to the elderly, because the elderly aren't protected by the flu shot that doesn't work. Sounds just like the logic they used during covid to "protect" Granny and Grandpa.

Seems the key word is 'paying' for a specifically designated result. I feel increasing the quality of our food supply would work wonders to help resist the flu.
