We never won together, that's the truth,

I'd take your tips and lose my rent, forsooth.

You'd swear you knew the numbers, knew the game,

But every pick you gave me brought me shame.

Play the odds, you'd say, trust me, I'm right,

Then watch my wallet vanish in the night.

Your strategies, your systems, all a bust,

Your hot tips turned my winnings into dust.

But when I played alone, I struck it rich,

My own gut feeling, not your losing pitch.

The jackpot hit, the bells rang loud and clear,

And I won big the thing you'd never hear.

So thanks for nothing, friend, I learned my lesson,

Your advice was just a lonely curse in session.

I won a lot, just never by your side,

My solo streak's the one thing I won't hide.

Now I cash out while you still scratch and dream,

Chasing numbers on a losing team.

We never won together that's perfectly fine,
