WoW! Justx....I used to watch Dina shore. My dad was actually on the " Mid-day live show in N.Y.C, and I have the footage to prove it...lol Mid-day live was one of the segways to newer shows like the "Today" show.

<br />Littleoldlady, I had to look up wampum, although I had heard the word used when talking about Native American tribes. I thought it was used for trading, but the article I read said that is a common error. Fried clams were popular where I come from, although I was never too crazy about them. Reading this article made me look up three words: quahogs, blue pearls and wampum. Good story. I also got a biology lesson on clams (I didn't know they had long ones)...see everyone can learn something..the wampum part was wild, too.
