<br />Angel, I hope you continue to post stories like this. I like them, so I hope I didn't sound like a naysayer. But in this situation, I was thinking exactly what Pac wrote before I read his comment. I'm glad he was the scrooge in this case, not me. LOL

I agree Pack. It's a nice story and the man didn't have to go out of his way to return it. I like to look on the bright side, but maybe he was hoping to get a reward. You are absolutely correct. Even if you have an account at a bank and deposit a check for that amount, there is still a hold on it for 10 days. Some banks make you wait as much as 30 days unless it's a direct deposit or wire transfer.

He couldn't cash it anyway. You need and I.D. and other info to cash something that big. So I really don't understand what I'm missing here. If it was cash I could understand.
