Nobody is trying to divide anyone. There are MANY people from both parties that wish to be the next Prez. There are MANY issues to consider when voting. I normally vote Republican, but as I watch what is happening in the world, I just want someone who has lived a while on this earth that has some real experience. Rodger Clinton is a racist, they have it recorded. The Clintons are closet racists, we don't need their ilk, they will do or say anything to get back in, it ain't worth it. Billy Bones mentor was a racist. Ask yourself this and count on one hand: How many blacks and women were in Billy Bones cabinet? The American people who vote for these two morons are poorly informed and have blinders on.

<br />I believe it - it works. Any card that divides - works. It's an old tactic - divide and conquer. Bush pulled the "gay" card and it shock the bushes. Twice! And they were Christians. And some of these people didn't have jobs, couldn't feed their children and were being evicted. But they determined their Presidental vote on whether gay people can get married or not. Yes, John. I agree. However, as the article says, it's much easier to joke about a woman than to bring up race. I said I wouldn't add to it, so I won't. However, I will tell you my personal feelings about voting. I was planning to vote for Obama if Clinton doesn't win in the primaries. But when I read that the Clintons were being called racists, that bothered me. Yes, I think Hillary is trying to stir up things, but this is politics and politics get a little dirty. I won't elaborate, because it would be too lengthy, but if this whining continues IMHO it will hurt Obama. (Just so you know, I grew up watching Martin Luther King Jr in awe, and when I was a little girl I won an award for writing a paper about him.)... [ More ]

There are people who would vote for Clinton only because she is a woman and there are people out there who would vote for Obama only because he is black regardless of their political stance, positions and/or beliefs. By the same token, there are people who wouldn't vote for either or both of them for the same reasons. While attempts are made to legislate sexism and racism out of commerce and education, there is no way you'll ever legislate those underlying thoughts out of one's personal feelings. And the invidual in a voting booth is exactly that - an individual, voting his/her personal feelings and beliefs.... [ More ]
