I lived in a mobile home park for years and my next door neighbor had a very serious drinking and rage problem. Some people drink and get happy -- he was whacko. He also had shotguns. I used to say the same thing as the joke you posted. LOL (although my other neighbor didn't think it was very funny. Their cat lived, but had 3 legs)
