Konane makes a great point. The general public has always focused much more on Bill Clinton's public charm (or lack) and less on his policies and actions (Waco, Elian Gonzales, Ruby Ridge, "No-Fly" zones over Iraq, Somalia, Sudan, Haiti, Loral-gate...). Well, it could be a whole other series of blogs, but you get the idea. I even left out the salacious "distractions".

He may be a slob -- that's debatable -- but as the Clinton's chief advisor from the Arkansas days through re-election, he knows them better than anyone else alive, and he is amazingly dead-on accurate with everything he's been saying about them. The clintons are power-hungry liars, and will go to any extremes to keep power.

I've heard she has a bad temper also. There was a time I stood next to her soon after they came into the White House the first term, it wasn't in the White House but a nevertheless a secure facility. It was in a hallway next to an office where I was replacing a mirror drive, back then there was nary RAID to be found, so replacing a drive was time consuming. So I goes out in the hallway and there she is standing right by the door of the room and it is in my nature to smile and say hello. She looked at me said nothing and turned away and looked the other way. I am a peasant therefore I was not acknowledged. No biggie. Anyway, I know people that worked closely with Gore, they all kept their distance from the Clintons for fear of drawing the wrath of Hillary. It is the last thing we need in the White House again.... [ More ]
