It was haunting. She says she understands everything, but is trapped inside a sick body. Google Carly Fleischmann if anyone is interested. This is a tough subject time*treat and I'm torn because of the good early prevention does. I don't know how old you are, but in the 50s I saw what happens to people who get polio. My Dad had a friend who was paralyzed from the neck down. My friend's brother was severely crippled. Now, because of a miraculous vaccine, it's extremely rare to be afflicted with that terrible disease. If I were a parent of a young child, it would be something I'd be agonizing over.
