Konane, Sounds like you have level headed outlook. I too believe that Quantum phsics is the next exciting discovery. I'm open to just about anything that has some common sense to it. I know Quantum phsics doesen't deal with common sense, but I have to first be open to the most radical ideas if I want to learn anything at all. Can you imagine the looks on people's faces when they were told the earth is not the center of the universe?...lol

It's just that if you say "I love ice cream with chocolate syrup" in August and then someone in March writes during a discussion about losing weight that "you might have to give up the ice cream & chocolate syrun" that person is not criticizing you or even passing judgment or, as you put it "being a rat." Actually, I saw my mom for the very first time since I was about 4 years old. It happened back in 1998. She flew from Holland to Los Angeles, to my dad's house in Van Nuys, and bought me a round trip ticket to see her since over 30 years back in 1998. Pac, I've read that each religion teaches what their founders brought back with them when looking on the other side of the veil. Maybe each religion is going in a similar direction with the imposition of particular rituals which worked for those original founders and most followers .... but sometimes it isn't a one size fits all world.

My dad had already divorced by the time I reached the Americas. He raised both my sister and I. My father was never religous, but my grandmother, a couple of aunts are still to this day. They are muslims, and still pray 5 times a day facing east. Around 1977 my sister joined the Mormon religion and left home for a tear while on a mission.
