Very interesting and true depiction of the "Debbie Downers" at the party of life. To be honest with you, I have no patience with these types and avoid them at all costs. Negative people drain your positive energy. It's almost like they're a dead cell phone in need of a charge so they tap into you.

I know a person that is all of those rolled into one. I will try your different approaches to handle them. But I especially have experience with the whiners/no people. My inlaws are ate-up with it. I just learned to NEVER try to offer advice to them. Because they really Don't want any help. They just want everyone to feel sorry for their butts! Even when they ask me what I would do, I just leave it alone by saying, "I don't know.

The type of people I can't stand is what I call "The speed regulators", on the highways and biways. They think that by sitting in the left lane and not moving, might make an important impact on your life, and that from now on, you will drive according to the speed of the guidelines contained within the driver's manual.
