I didn't realize how long that story was (an it was edited. lol) BTW, that discrepancy amount looked funny to me since the fine was $86 and I paid $75.20. So they even have that wrong!!! I was just copying it from the long report I printed out. A $20.80 discrepancy would make the fine $96. Amazing!

<br />A few days days later I got a response "Sorry for the error. I have corrected the mistake. We have reinstated your license with the Department of Motor Vehicles." I called Tallahasse and was told they had no record of any violations, so it was okay. I realize I don't need to, but I keep all of this in my file drawer although it never came up again. It just seems that whenever I throw something away I end up needing it a week later.

Thank's Rick. You better believe I now carry in my purse one of those all in one pocket knives with a Phillips. A nail file doesn't work.

<br />Hope you get your plate (tag) in order. My tag is "I FIX 911" and I've had it as long as you've had yours. The reason behind my plate number is I'm a maintenance man and 'I fix emergencies'. I get a lot of questions about it and one guy wants to buy it from me (I think he's a Porsche mechanic). I'd be upset if I couldn't renew it, so I know where you're coming from.<br /><br
