Four4me - that might be cool. I mean, a single person could take all the secrecy and mystery out of a relationship and just take a scanner along on a date. In a few seconds you know if the person is married, gay, a registered Democrat or Republican and even if he has high blood pressure or experiences ED if the MIB has reported it. :-)

Pumpi they are already using RFID tags in animals and products they can easily be inserted in humans. Most new licenses for teenagers in Maryland contain these chips already so in effect they are tagged. When they walk into an area where the receiver is all their personal information can be read or transmitted to a different location. Oh and all new passports contain them so get use to big brother watching.

LittleOldLady...I guess there are many different rules for different institutions. Some virtual banks like ING only link directly to your local bank account and you can transfer any amount back & forth AFAIK. I've used ING for several years.

I use online banking and can transfer anything anywhere. I like it like that. I would be more paranoid about making a phone call. The only thing is if you want to take out more than $2,000.00, you have to let them know twice. As soon as you do it, you are contacted by the fraud division. I also like certified checks. They are really nice and easy to handle.

Pumpi, I guess it depends why a person wants to travel. Some people want to get to know the local culture and mingle with the residents. So they stay in a Bed & Breakfast or even with local people who rent rooms to travelers. Others want to do the touristy thing and get room service. Both are fine, but have different experiences.

Panama City is a very exciting place, but I haven't been there for years as I wrote before. I wish I still had an article I read about a Jewish wedding at a Chinese restaurant in Panama City. Very controversial political subject, because I believe in freedom and independence, but I know that losing those thousands of US troops hurt the local economy. I think I'm older than you, but there used to be lots of US military living in Panama. As I wrote, I don't travel any more, but it used to be so cheap to go to other countries.... [ More ]

sincerely, i think is better if you travel to different parts of the world in a cruise and then make your stop in the country that you are going to visit...Traveling by plane to one country is not fun...They need to have a form of traveling that will have TV'S, all you can eat, where you can bet online, or just bet in a casino, you know what i mean; fun...They need to have something like the airbus but not with the intent of cramming people in, but to have few people perhaps 50 people instead of... [ More ]

If you prefer cash, and don't trust your bank or its other customers, go to your bank on non-busy days and take your cash. If you prefer using a card, and are the big spender, some cards come with 6 figure limits. Again, if you go to the bank when they are not busy, an account representative will be all too happy to show you the options available. No need to worry about things that are not real problems.

<br />I use online banking to pay my credit card. I just transfer the money from my bank account to my credit card, but it's not to increase my limit. True, there is a maximum daily cash withdrawal from an ATM (usually $200 a day) but people can charge a lot more than that. Some people have credit card debt of well over $50,000, although that's usually on 2 or more cards. $2,000 is a very low credit line.
