Jxp, I went and pulled up a news article from Feb 29th quoting the Prez saying he didn't think we were headed into recession. The Fed must be mistaken ... or trying to make him look bad. ;-)

I could never see a connection between independant truckers going on strike on April 1st, and high fuel prices. It never crossed mymind....lol

Anyway, I wanted to write that although I think of short sales and foreclosures as affecting only lower income families, look at the homes that are on the market. I thought that most of the houses were under $200,000 - but maybe those are just the ones I've seen. I was surprised to find so many in the million dollar price range. I suppose that if someone has a $700,000 house and loses his/her job, it would have the same effect after savings are gone. It might feel degrading, but if I w... [ More ]

I asked someone to send me a link to an article about foreclosures in Florida. This wasn't what I was expecting.

Definitely not my price range, but I guess $2.4 million is a bargain to a lot of people!
