The theory is that few Democrat voters will be annoyed enough at that to vote ... to hold back theirs. The unspoken question is "Where ya gonna go?" The lesser-of-two-evils tactic is very well honed. It works very well in the left-right mindset.

<br />The US Congress has set a very dangerous precedent by granting the telecoms immunity from breaking the law. What they did today was unconstitutional. This law will be challenged in court.
