No matter who we go with the Bush administration has completely ruined not only the country, but the world. It can't be fixed. These last days are only going to get worse. As long as Nancy Pelosi is in office it will be a rough road. What's happening is supposed to happen because we are not in charge! God is, and His will is being done. Then permits are required and all phases of construction are inspected by the town or city. In some cases if a job runs under so many dollars an architect is not reguired but permits are. Siding redos , roofs, etc

In S.C. you get a state license for different trades and then you need a license for the area you work. Town , city , county. They are quite strict on licenses in S.C. now . When Hugo came thru their were a lot of fly by nights that came in and butchered a lot of work and for big money I might add.

Let me tell you something the 401k thing doesn't look good on paper. Whatever amout it is, its mine!! understand my point here? I'm not being a smarta** Didn't do risky investments, buts it a 31 year 401k. I'm not as stupid to believe everything BAD that has happened is the republican's fault. However it was under Bush's admin. I guess I'm just cut from a different cloth, I don't take whats not mine. kttrm

I find it hard to believe you lost your 401K's because of Bush and AIG. Most 401K's are comprised of several types of funds that usually lean more and more toward being least risky as you approach retirement. If what you say is true, it isn't Bush's or AIG's fault, it is the fault of your 401k plan's management team. You've fallen for the class envy trap and the fallacy that they spent YOUR money. I'm going with Obama ,Joe is making big money and doesn't want to pay his share of taxes. Obama is giving 95% of middleclass working people tax cuts. My husband and I have already lost our 401k's due to Bush and AIG's 400,000 parties. Oh by the way my husband WAS suppose to retire in March but they partied our money away, with their 14.6 million dollars vacation house in Florida. Must be nice. I wouldn't know. kttrm
