I agree with everything that has been said. I try to keep myself and life experiences out of LP but sometimes it's hard because so many people just get carried away but who am I to say I'm just a newbie anyway. But I just wish the hate would just go away.

It is sad that there is still so much hate in this country. We all need to learn how to live together in peace and love. I am surprised at the number of "haters" here on LP. It doesn't take much to identify them. O f course they say this is free speech. but how can you hate someone because of his or her color......I grew up in the South of the 50's and 60's and I know firsthand how hate can hurt......

Hi. I am not an American but I feel your pain--I really did not know that you have so much persons who hate the Obamas like that--Your National anthem say's that your land is for the land of the free and the home of the braves--Just remember the world is watching and most of us in small countries like the Bahamas look up to the USA--But if everyone is so full of hatred and spread those hurtful rumors of the Obamas the I cry shame on the US. The Bahamas is for Obama and If i could've voted I sure as hell would've support him. <br />Do people not understand that this man has a family? He has a wife and two beautiful kids and they wish death on this man. Would those same people who make death threats feel the same way if someone wished that one of their family members should be murdered? I doubt they have ever had someone been murdered in their family, otherwise they wouldn't make such idiotic comments like that. Hate his politics, that is fine, but wishing the man to be assassinated is horrible.

Most people already know who they are going to vote for and 40% have already voted in early voting in NC (a swing state) Already made history. There are 52% registered democrats and 32% Pub here - do the math. The pathetic Pub attempts with last minutes Obama smearing and desperate pathetic acts to get a McCain vote is futile. How embarrassing that only 1,100 showed up in Tampa for McCain. They ran from the camera crew. The fat lady is singing. Give up already with the smearing. I know, I know. That's all the pubs got left.
