Great post. Uncanny how his words fit today. There's a website about the book 1984. . .150 things in that book have come to pass.

Big Brother gave out coupons for digital air broadcast convertors so he could spy on you, but his evil plan went awry, when all were bought up and were resold on Ebay! Something that wasn't on the agenda whence BB self actualized.

Think they began during the Cold War era or maybe even before. With J Edgar Hoover in charge of the FBI anyone could end up with a file. He was instrumental in forming the FBI in 1932 and remained as their director until his death in 1972.

Funny how people comment on what fits their agenda. What about Orwell's 1984, which he mentions? Big Brother began watching us 8 years ago!

We're all having our defenses torn down with the carefully planned and orchestrated financial free fall. Depends on whether we go running to mother-government for the solution or tap into out American ingenuity.
