Your ISP (Internet Service Provider).

Might give you web space, otherwise there are places where you can get it at.

They might also provide Web page making tools and a Web site manager.

That way you don't need to know anything about HTML, Java and JavaScript code.

You make the page there online, publish it and later manage and update it.

It might also allow you to make your own page(s) offline, either by hand with a text editor and or with the help of software.

There are website making freewares.

There are also Web site making tutorials on the Net and HTML tutorials.

I myself have not taken the time to study them, so I know next to nothing about those things, but I know about a few simple things.

I have before made some very simple Web pages with and without the help of page making tools, a few times I have looked at Web pages' sources and just copied a few things from them, it was maybe easier than learning HTML, but that was time ago and those pages are gone now, their HTML code might be on some of my CDs somewhere, maybe, I don't know.

Anyhow, not too long ago using my ISP Web paging tools I made a simple site, here is a picture of the main page.

It is just a sample site that I made, I am not using it for anything other than for hosting pictures there including avatars such as that:

By the way the lottery numbers posted at that site are not to be played, they were posted there very long ago, the lottery numbers on the site have not been updated for a very long long time.

A site is made for example with Windows' NotePad it will have text such as this:

And it will be saved with a name like this:

index.html

Once saved like that, it will no longer be a text page, but a HTML Web page.

That Web page is just about as simple as you can get, it just has DiamondPalace's Lottery Site printed on it on the Lth upper postion of the page and it does nothing, it just has that text on it.

A Web page has a Head and a Body.

The body is the main part of the page.

Take a look at the HTML code of the index or main page, it was not coded by me, but by Web page making tools at my ISP:

I am not sure right now, but it seems to me as if some or a lot of the code there might be just trash, that is just extra code and not really needed.

It has been quite a while since I tinkered with the pages' code.

To start it might be best to use the tools given by the ISP or Web Space provider, then sudy the Web Pages' code, then go to other pages copy their source code and study it, then get a Web Site builder freeware and make a site with it and also study the code of the pages, then get hold of HTML tutorials on the Web and study them.
