I actually got billed for a pneumonia shot - which I refused and never had. Actually it was Medicare that got billed. Had a nice battle trying to get that straightened out.

I personally don't believe in too many "natural" home remedies. Most, flat out, don't work. I have a closet full of home remedy bottles. Some work. And you might be right about your flu mixture - never tried that. I did read your blog on your son, glad he is OK.... [ More ]
"Do not think of modern medicine this way. Medical care, until the 1950s, was, mostly, superstition and luck. Today’s medicine, however, makes that of almost every other time period look like it came from the Stone Age. We have, especially in the last few years, produced drugs that have proved effective at treating diseases such as cancer, diabetes, heart disease and sepsis. We would have led far worse, shorter lives if not for the wonders of modern medicine. Never listen to the bulls**t... [ More ]
This flu strain appears to be an engineered strain. The chances of four strains of flu viruses from three different animal DNA (human, bird, pig) is very slim. This is a bio-weapon. The big winner is Big Pharma.

<br

Have you heard of Thieves Oil? The story goes that during the plague there were four thieves who were robbing plague victims. They never caught the plague themselves. When they were caught, the sherrif offered them their freedom if they told him how they avoided getting infected. Their day job was perfumers. They had created a concoction of essential oils including clove, lemon, cinnamon, eucalyptus and rosemary. They applied it to their wrists and neck. These oils are immune system enhancers.

Another story I came across when checking this out was about a group of 200 cinnamon factory workers whose friends and families had the Spanish flu of 1918 but not a single one of the workers came down with it. They attributed it to the cinnamon dust they were exposed to daily.

Thieves oil is available online but you can easily make it yourself (I did.). The ingredients are all at the health store and cost half as much as a doctor visit. And you'll have enough for a long time.

Here's a site with the recipe: http://www.think-aboutit.com/health/ThievesOil.htm

This flu might be a double whammy. A health official has warned us of the possibility of the flu wave hitting and then returning a few months later more deadly (remember there is always foreshaddowing in a good plot). Oddly, the web bot's predictive linguistics indicate a similar pattern.

Stay healthy!

... [ More ]
