			<description><![CDATA[<p>Cow gets new home after escape from slaughterhouse<br /><br />NEW YORK The 500-pound cow that led New York City police on a mile-long chase after bolting from a Queens slaughterhouse is now living large at a Long Island farm sanctuary. The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals says they transported the young cow, nicknamed &#x27;Molly,&#x27; to a Calverton sanctuary called the Farrm on Thursday afternoon.<br /><br />ASCPA assistant director Joseph Pentangelo says the all-black cow seemed to be enjoying her new freedom, adding Her future&#x27;s a lot brighter now than it was 48 hours ago.<br /><br />The spirited cow dodged cars, cops and a few irate butchers as she fled a mile through an urban area of Queens on Wednesday.
