Rip Van Winkle free Reading:

http://www.ibiblio.org/ebooks/Irving/Winkle/Irving_Winkle.htm

---------------

DSpeech is a very nice text to speech program, it can also convert to audio MP3 and or wave the text:

http://dimio.altervista.org/eng/

http://www.softpedia.com/get/Office-tools/Other-Office-Tools/DSpeech.shtml

Best use the the first link to get the SAPI4 and the SAPI5 voices and or program that you might need.

I suggest to use:

Mike speech engine (MSTTSM22L.EXE 2.3mb). As it has the best free male voice, try to get it here:

http://www.mycallsoft.com/speech.html

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=5E86EC97-40A7-453F-B0EE-6583171B4530 displaylang=en

For a female voice the free Mary voice is O.K. get it if you can from those links or from others use a search engine and look for:

msttsf22l.exe

-----

To get all 3 voices you might want to look for:

marymksm.exe it has also another name, but I delete that file as it was a duplicate in content.

You can also try to get the:

tv_enua.exe

-----

There are other files, but this should be enough for now if you use WinXP.

Free voices are good enough if you use Mike and or Mary, and or the default voices.

Natural voices are better, but not free.

----------

For a free program DSpeech is very nice.

Have fun!

-------

... [ More ]
