First, I've been checking the Wisconsin Lottery Web Site to see if it is up since the last reports that is has been down for a while. (As if I actually go there any more for information.) Well, any way, I just happened across an oxymoronic and quite possible a deceptive advertisement. The Wisconsin Lottery is going to be promoting a Pick 3 Double Draw Days in June. In their ad, they use the word 'Ball' to describe the drawing as if it were an actual ball, a physical entity, a real world object that is producing results. NOT TRUE, there are no BALLS used to produce the result. Hence, the deception! It also shows how their thinking is operating toward the 'Player', change the mind set and make them think it's a real object, when in fact IT IS NOT. Just keep in mind everyone, the other part of selling you the deception is also a psychological one. Be Aware, BE VERY AWARE!

Second, I see this as some sad a attempt to thwart any Pick 3 Matrix Analysis and potential Pick 4 Matrix Analysis that we have come up with. Reason being is, it's very hard on their part to retro fit a solution to this new method of analysis. The analysis only needs two draws for Pick 3 and three draw for Pick 4 to work. Now their attempt to inject some kind of uncertainty into the equation is not going to work. It has to do with Differentiated Instum Sampling. As a different perspective to understand the failed attempt, they conduct test draws to see if the system is working, well those test draws are just like those double draws they are going to have. You're reading this and I know you are, think about it for a while, ponder it... then you'll get the picture. (In a low sounding evil laugh.) Heh-heh-eh...you'll see.

... [ More ]
