That is the most 420 response to a question (from a 7 year old!) I think I've ever seen from a politician. I mean campaign mode is campaign mode but holy moly it is over the top. I like straight talking politicos that can think objectively on their feet. The child asked a simple question and what she got was a rambling leftist fear mongering dissertation on the awful country we live in. But again I think GWBush made Obama say that stuff. McCain is similar and tries to cover everything and please everybody, forgetting their real purpose as elected politicians, upholding the Constitution. Making more laws, rules, growing govt. and taxing us to death is not their role.... [ More ]

I would answer the 7-year-old like this:

I am running to be President of the United States because I love my country the USA, and I have two beautiful daughters just like you. And when I am President Of the United States I will do my best and make sure that my two daughters will have the same country that I grew up in so they and you can do or be whatever you want when you grow up, just like I did. So maybe one day there could be a lady President.
