His wife was also killed. I live not to far from the accident scene. One of my friends is a first response leader, we were talking last week about the recent 2 suicides on Metro and the massive response they received. We were speculating of what would happen if an attack or something big happened..........well it happened less than a week later, and they did an incredible job. They are still investigating, and of course passing blame,........... but the conductor gave her life trying to stop that train it was on a turn and they came up on the stopped train and only had 700 feet to stop from 40mph.
