We have seen this happen over the last fifty years. A law meant to correct an injustice in one area soon gets applied all over the place in areas not considered when the law was passed. Take the Income Tax. When initially enacted it covered only those making over one million a year and the top rate was 3%. Look at it now. This law will be no different.

are you sure the law as written ......is not against people who plan violent messsages against GAYS and not as it is stated in the Bible ......God also destroyed the Earth in a flood over gays who got married ; and again in Sodom and Gomorah?

I hate this type of legislation sneaking it in under a defense spending bill! Odious is puting it mildly. Note to self: Keep sharpening pitch fork.

The government is passing laws that contradict the Constitution and the wishes of the people. It does not have that authority. These laws and debts are null and void. This is a rogue government and we are not required by the constitutional law to obey them. The debts they are accruing are called odious debts. my father went to church tonight and they passed out flyers to everyone about this new hate crime bill.

cliffnotes version....

under this legislation a pastor who teaches that homosexuality is wrong could be accused of a hate crime or charged with 'inducing' a violent crime against a gay person.more importantly it will lead to the criminalization of biblical truth as 'hate speech'.majority leader harry reid has promised to pass this legislation in the next few weeks and the house already has.
