I wrote a computer program that calculates a Pick 3 number (using lottery math) by iterating each position (A, B, and C) by adding or subtracting 0, 1, 2 or 3.

There are a total of 343 different combinations. So I took the draw history for Indiana's Pick 3 (Midday and Evening combined) and for each draw I had the program calculate a number.

I then took each number and searched forward in the draw history to identify box and straight hits. Then I started to analyze which pattern (+ -) resulted in the most hits.

There are a lot of patterns for Indiana. So I started analyzing some more and determined some general patterns which I then applied.

So, this morning I was working on this and came up with this group of 71 numbers:

631 136 163 361 635 356 365 437 734 743

436 346 364 236 263 362 531 351 568 865

430 340 457 745 458 845 769 967 760 067

869 968 039 930 936 963 836 863 735 753

345 354 567 439 467 741 751 835 831 841

851 867 860 861 935 931 037 036 047 048

057 058 830 732 731 130 230 342 341 352

350

Checked the Midday results and saw that the 037 hit straight.

Most of the hits happen between one or two days so this group of numbers may have a few more box and/or straights in them for the next two days.

I added the 037 to my draw file and redid the calculations using the general pattern filter and came up with these 44 numbers:

934 349 967 769 834 348 867 768 735 357

745 754 756 765 345 354 356 365 930 830

736 738 739 746 748 749 740 758 759 750

134 130 167 234 230 267 346 347 340 358

359 350 368 369

Out of these two groups of numbers, I am hoping for another straight in the evening draw tonight. We will see.

This system puts out a ton of box hits and quite a few straights. I will start working on other states soon to see if there are more concise patterns.

... [ More ]
