It started out a little slow. Then it went uphill from there. Through various winners and Keno games at a certain place, things went uphill. It really got started with a $20 winner on a $5 ticket (will be recapped in Friday's KACHING Report). On another $5 ticket...

...I hit this monster.

Now, I've got some explaining to do for this particular ticket. I hit this winner and show a lady working the lotto counter at the place I played at (will remain nameless, just to be safe and not somehow inadvertently get their lotto license taken away...as I like playing there -- but it wasn't the tobacco mart I usually go to). She offers to cash the ticket for me.....and allow me to keep the ticket (because it can't be cashed twice anyway). I decide to go along with that, collecting my $75 and keeping the ticket so I could post it here (they now know about my blog, Lotto Hideout, and YouTube channel). A few moments later, another lady, the owner (who's a nice lady as well) comes in and finds out about it. She thinks a moment and then realizes that there might be a rule from the GA lottery saying that they have to deface winning tickets. She told me she'd have to get the ticket back, but invited me to bring a camera to take a picture of the posted ticket (because they post $20-or-better winners at this particular place). I hand her the ticket back (and understood her reasoning). Later on......she gets a bright idea that's probably technically within the rules. She rips off the part where the boxed validation numbers and hands the ticket back to me. There ya go....it's defaced now. , she said (or something similar...don't remember the exact words). Voila....it's defaced and she's probably within the rules. I did promise, though, that I'd return that ticket to her (because I can't cash it in again....it's already been cashed, so, after I post this, what's the use in keeping the ticket for myself?) so she could post it in the window or on the ticket container with those particular tickets.

I slow play some more tickets. I then decide to become gutsy (at the advice of someone who was also hanging out there) and try the $20 Millionaire Jumbo Bucks.

Boy what great advice that was.

(As you can see, I've yet to cash this one. I kept this one, chatted about lottery with the owner and someone else, went to a nearby diner and ate some supper, and then got outta there.)

Until next time, may you hit nothing but multipliers and win all symbols.

... [ More ]
