			<description><![CDATA[<p>Yesterday was an eventful day for Venus Williams, among the Americans who played. She had to dig super deep to get a win from her persistent opponent Vera Dushevina. The final score of the match was 6-7, 7-5, 6-3 and Venus truly had to fight for her life to keep from getting beat in the first round of the last major of the year. Serena Williams, Andy Roddick, Robert Kendrick and James Blake had a little easier time with their wins, so............Let&#x27;s Go USA!!!!!!!!<br /><br /></p>]]></description>
