Most of the mass media outlets are owned by the multinational corporations that stand to gain most from this. They won't be touching anything this important ... especially when they have plenty of nonsense to distract the public with.

All the precedents (e.g., unitary executive) set by the previous administration are coming back to haunt us. Congress is supposed to ratify treaties. Presidents cannot form a legally binding treaty without the OK of congress (formerly known as "we the people"). Only dictators can do that. ;)
