http://www.filedropper.com/english_1

It has over 20, 000 words and should have few spelling mistakes, if any at all, they should be the most used English words on the U.S.A.

This dictionary file can be used with Ms Office applications, PSPad, ScanSoft Omnipage, Etc.

In some cases all that you have to do is change the ending of the file to .dic or .txt or .ud or whatever, you can also change the name of the file to whatever you want it to, there is a place and or places where you need to put the file into depending on the application that will use it, on PsPad it goes on the Spell folder, or for Ms Office it can be put on:

C:\ProgramFiles\MicrosoftOffice\Office

But then you need to point Ms Word to where it is by going to:

Tools

Options

Customs Dictionaries

Add.

------------

Don't delete the old CUSTOM.dic if it is already there, just add this one there so it can also be used, it is a very good dictionary that I made it has 20,595 words, not just any words, but should be the most used English words, it is not bloated full of weird words, just the words that are the most used on the U.S.A.

-------

Before that one I had made one that had almost 1/2 million words, it was so bloated that I could not use it, I deleted it, this little one is much better.

... [ More ]
