"Who looks outside, dreams. Who looks inside, awakens."
~Carl Jung

These words of the founder of Analytical Psychology, Carl Jung, kept pounding in my head: “in all chaos there is a cosmos, in all disorder a secret order”. I could therefore never accept that here was a puzzle beyond solution. I could never accept that my intellect was not of sufficient calibre to find this solution. I looked upon any such suggestion as an insult. It just could not be that Roulette cou... [ More ]

Very strange indeed. Synchronicity at work once again.

For 30 plus years or so, I've always wondered why there has to be anything at all. Why couldn't it be the case that there was simply nothing in the universe. Or even a universe to exist at all, not even empty space. More strange was the fact that I was recently thinking about this subject when i accidently stumbled upon a show while channel surfing. It's on a Public broadcasting station called Closer to truth . I saw the line-up this morning. It's to be shown this afternoon at 1:30. But I said to myself...why wait? Just find it on the net, which I did.

I wonder what the odds are to finding such a show when i was thinking about it. I've always hoped I could see this being discussed, and so it came.

There are 6 short videos on this subject alone...WOW

After watching these vids, you can go back to the main menu and select from a whole host of other interesting subjects dealing with philisophical issues. I must warn you though, after watching just 2 of the videos in the link provided, I can say that my head is still spinning from some of the answers they give.....LOL

Enjoy !

http://www.closertotruth.com/topic/Why-is-There-Something-Rather-than-Nothing-/118

... [ More ]
