I just don't even know what to say. I'm so sorry for that family. I'm sure they will do fine, but that will be such a challenge for everyone. My daughter got pregnant at 17, and her baby has a severe heart condition that they never caught during her sonograms. He was born with his heart malformed, backwards, and on the opposite side of his chest, and it almost wasn't caught in time. He's had 2 surgeries and is ok for now, but I can sure sympathize with this family, about the hopes for a healthy baby, and the shock of something very rare being wrong with it. :-(... [ More ]
